Giulia Gualano, actress based in Rome
ABOUT ME
I arrived in the Eternal City twenty years ago and fell in love with Rome right away, the city that allowed me to study and fulfill myself. My first passion was dance, then I began studying acting, first at Teatro Azione with Cristiano Censi and Isabella del Bianco, then with various coaches and teachers such as Beatrice Bracco, Patrizia Hartman, Lino Damiani, Jenny Tamburi, Daniele Monterosi, Francesca Tomassoni and others.
As an actress I have been lucky enough to play very different roles, both as a lead and as a co-lead: from a journalist to a murderous mother, from a lawyer to a woman with borderline personality disorder, comedic roles as well as dramatic ones.
On Amazon Prime Video you can watch both "OH MIO DIO!" (Oh My God!), in which I play a modern Mary Magdalene, and "LO SPOSO INDECISO", in which I play a wedding planner trying to organize the most absurd wedding in the world. On that film I had the chance to work alongside actors such as Gianmarco Tognazzi, Claudia Gerini, Francesco Pannofino and Ornella Muti. It was recently broadcast twice in prime time on RAI UNO and is also available on RaiPlay.
The latest film I took part in as a co-lead is "ELECTION DAY", alongside Angela Finocchiaro and Giorgio Tirabassi. It was released in cinemas by Medusa and will soon be on Amazon Prime Video too.
What else can I say? I'm a lucky person: I have a wonderful family, two lovely RAgatti and plenty of friends who care about me
